Russian bodybuilder who injected his ‘Popeye’ arms with oil reveals he’s getting married as bride-to-be tries on wedding dresses
Known as 'bazooka hands' in Russia, Kirill Tereshin is delighted to be engaged - again
A SMITTEN Russian bodybuilder famous for his bulging Popeye-like arms is engaged again, just three months after being dumped by his former fiancée.
Kirill Tereshin – dubbed ‘Bazooka arms’ by fellow Russians – is marrying blogger Victoria Yakynina.
A thrilled Tereshin, aka "Popeye" due to his beach ball-like biceps hanging off his otherwise skinny frame, shared a photo of him posing beside his new fiancee with his 500,000 Instagram followers.
Alongside the image he wrote: "This is me with my bride-to-be."
Meanwhile, Yakynina posted three snaps of her trying on a wedding dress for her 195,000 followers.
But she did not comment further on the topic of her pending marriage, perhaps preferring to keep quiet on her engagement to 22-year-old Tereshin.
In September this year, Popeye was dramatically dumped by his then fiancee Olesya Malibu, days before they were to marry, because he allegedly cheated on her.
Malibu insisted that they could not have sex until they were married.
She ditched Popeye, who hails from Pyatigorsk, after claiming that he insulted her by going off with other women.
At the time, Malibu said: "The wedding will not take place! Go to hell, Bazooka Arms!"
Tereshin consequently said he had suffered from a broken heart and confessed to followers that he had been going through a frustrating spell in the lovemaking department.
The bodybuilder has hit many a headline for developing freakish 24-inch biceps after injections of “synthol”, a substance containing oil, painkiller and alcohol.
Some blokes inject it into their bodies to fake an extraordinary mega-muscled look.
But it causes a raft of problems including infections, nerve damage, cysts, ulcers in the muscle and can even cause a stroke.
He also had silicon implanted into his calves because he wanted to make his legs look like “rockets”.
In a bid to change his life and "get some" after being dumped by Malibu he shaved off his eyebrows because he heard that was what women wanted.
In a video clip of the incident, Popeye says to the camera: "Today I am going to show you how to shave your eyebrows, because girls will not let me have sex with them."
He added: "They say I need to shave my eyebrows so I am going to show you how it should be done."
The oddball bodybuilder reaches for a razor and explains for anyone who is not familiar with the bladed tool: "This is an ordinary razor."
He then spends a few moments to whip off his eyebrows, saying: "Brows are gone, the girls are all mine now!"
Despite his comments, it's not clear whether it was his shorn eyebrows which attracted Yakynina to him.
