A HAVE-A-GO hero wrestled a 12-inch blade from a knife man who attacked patients in two GP waiting rooms in London.
A 40-year-old man was seen being hauled into a police van wearing nothing but underpants and socks after armed police were called to St Stephen’s Road, in Bow, East London, this morning.
Two men, aged 33 and 24, and a 77-year-old woman were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following the incident at around 11.05am today.
Another woman made her own way to hospital with a minor injury and has since been discharged.
It is understood two of the victims were stabbed in the Tredegar Practice on St Stephen's Road. Overturned chairs could be seen in the window of the practice as police taped off the scene.
A third was then stabbed in the nearby St Stephen's Health Centre of William place.
Police later confirmed the man had been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Eye-witnesses described an attacker being wrestled to the floor as he lunged at terrified patients.
A mum-of-three said she was waiting in the surgery when the suspect - wearing Army-style camouflage clothing - burst in waving a kitchen knife at around 11am today.
She said: "As I looked up, I saw him waving the knife. I think it was a kitchen knife.
"He was just lunging with the knife at people. He went like that to me and I started screaming.
"The man in the green jumper, his mum was sitting there and he was sitting there. He was only mid to late 20s himself. He was slim.
"I just went into a state of panic. He lunged at me then stepped backwards because the other guy was shouting.

"Once he went for that guy in the green - I don't know if he stabbed him or sliced him.
"The guy in green was pushing him - I don't know if he was trying to grab the knife.
"I think he was trying to defuse it, and trying to stop him.
"He has saved people because he stopped other people from getting injured, but he was probably worried about his mum as well.
"I locked myself in the toilet. It was about seven minutes I was in there for."
Scotland Yard said the incident is not terror-related and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the attack.
A Met Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called at 11:06am to reports of a stabbing at a health centre on St Stephen’s Road, Tower Hamlets.
"Officers including specialist firearms officers attended and found three people suffering from stab injuries.
