THE savage murders of two Scandinavian tourists has led some Moroccans to call for the ISIS fanatics responsible to be EXECUTED.

Their bodies were discovered by French hikers on Monday morning while the four extremists suspects have been arrested.

A petition has been created at Change.org calling for the men responsible to be executed – as the brutal killings have sent shockwaves through Morocco.

While the North African country has not abolished capital punishment, the government has not carried out at an execution since 1993.

The petition says: “The death penalty is undoubtedly the right solution to this horrible crime, as a Moroccan, I request the application of Articles 393, 399 of the Moroccan Penal Code.”

The two articles the petition references relate to premeditated murder and a crime involving torture being punishable by death under Moroccan law.

And while it only has around 300 signatures, more people are calling for the execution of the suspects on Twitter.

One social media user wrote: “This heinous barbaric act does not represent Morocco or Moroccans.

“We are warm and loving people. These terrorists are not even humans and I hope they will be sentenced to death penalty.

“We are very sorry for the families and countries of the victims.”
