Super rich can celebrate New Year’s TWICE with lavish £200,000 private jet trip from Sydney to LA
If one New Year's Eve party is not enough, a private jet booking firm has the answer
FLASH party-lovers can celebrate New Year's Eve on two continents in the same night with a luxury private jet package costing £202,000.
You and seven friends could see in 2019 watching the fireworks in Sydney before flying in style to continue the fun in Los Angeles.
The flight over the Pacific crosses the international date line - "winding the clock back" so you land in 2018.
And you can choose between recharging your batteries with onboard pampering and a double bed - or powering through with endless champagne and a sound system.
Either way, you will be thoroughly refreshed and ready to do it all again when you touch down in the City of Angels.
PrivateFly, the jet booking firm offering the package, said it is the ultimate way to ring in the new year "in two of the world's most iconic locations."
It said: "The flight time from Sydney to LA is 13.5 hours, so with the 19-hour time difference, you get to replay over 5.5 hours of party time by flying eastwards."
Timings are so tight that it is only possible by private jet, the firm claimed.
It costs $255,500 to charter the plane - or $31,950 (£25,300) each if eight friends book together.
The party starts at 8pm on December 31 in Sydney, at "one of the city's glamorous night stops or VIP parties," according to PrivateFly.
Guests celebrate at midnight with a view of the famous fireworks in the harbour.
At 2am hop on board a Gulfstream G650ER where there is the choice of two in-flight experiences: the "Wellness" package or the "Festive Flight."
For the Wellness experience, the flight attendant will adjust the lighting and temperature in the cabin for the "optimum restful flight experience," according to PrivateFly.
Pampered passengers can lounge in designer pyjamas and slippers sip detox juices and nibble from a "VIP vitamin-packed" menu.
The cabin includes a master bedroom and separate flat single beds fitted with deluxe bedding.

The "Festive Flight" package is for "those looking to continue the celebrations at 45,000ft," says PrivateFly.
Guests can party on over the Pacific in the festively decorated cabin decked out with state-of-the-art music and entertainment systems, cuvée Champagne and top nosh such as caviar, lamb tartare, and lobster.
The plane lands in Los Angeles at 8.30pm "where the night is still young and there's time to head to your party of choice," PrivateFly says.
