A HERO bouncer was knifed to death in London's Mayfair trying to stop a mob breaking into a VIP sex party, it is claimed.
Tudor Simionov, 33, died after a brawl with nine gatecrashers at the £12.5million townhouse.
He was attacked by the gang and stabbed in the chest while trying to protect wealthy guests at the New Year’s Eve bash.
The event — with women in high heels and lingerie — was allegedly run by Edward Davenport.
He is a self-styled Lord and convicted fraudster, infamous for organising sex-and-booze bashes for young aristocrats.
A neighbour of the £12.5million Park Lane townhouse that was the party venue said: “Before the stabbing there were girls dressed in sexy outfits and lingerie coming in and out.
“It looked like a sex- themed event — high heels, corsets and so on.”
Earlier in the night witnesses saw a number of scantily-clad women entering the exclusive property as well as affluent-looking men.
But later screams rang out as violence erupted around the oak front door - at one point mobile phone footage captured the moment expensive vases were used as missiles.
Shocking video footage showed a mob of nine men swarming Tudor before he was stabbed once in the chest and bled to death outside the door of the plush Mayfair property.
The Metropolitan Police tonight released a heartbreaking final photo of the hero bouncer taken just hours before his death.
Club promoter Tommy Mack claimed Davenport, who is nicknamed Fast Eddie, was behind the party and many affluent guests had paid up to £2,000 to secure a table.
He added: “It’s absolutely terrible what happened to the doorman. Fast Eddie is a great guy and runs the best parties. He organised it. It was a private party but word got out and the bad element turned up.
“There were a lot of Eddie’s friends and clients there — Arab princes, people with money, that kind of thing.
“There were some lovely girls there and they had paid thousands to book a table at the party and they did not want thugs ruining their night.”
Leroy Rose, 25, also a promoter, tried to save Romanian Tudor, taking him into a bathroom to seek something to staunch the flow of blood.
Cashing in on sleaze - 'Lord' Edward Davenport became infamous in the 1980s for throwing his Gatecrasher Balls
LONDON’S sex party scene is notorious and ranges from secret high-end bashes for trusted guests to the capital’s Torture Garden — billed as Europe’s largest fetish club.
“Lord” Edward Davenport became infamous in the 1980s for throwing his Gatecrasher Balls — parties for up to 10,000 rich kids at a time.
In 2016 he held a school-themed sex party in Marylebone where women were encouraged to dress as schoolgirls and men as headmasters.
He said: “His suit was covered in blood and it was coming out of his chest.
“He wasn’t wearing a protective vest. He died in front of me. The other security guards had been getting beaten up and he went to help them.
“He’d only been out there for about 30 seconds when he was stabbed in the chest.”
Leroy added: "He is a hero. He died trying to save his colleagues. He took on nine of them."
The promoter said the level of violence at the Mayfair event had stunned guests and witnesses.
He added: “It is a place where high-end clients come, people with a lot of money.”
One witness said women guests ran in terror from the event after the knifing.
Phone footage of the attack shows a mob swarming over Tudor as vases from the party are hurled as missiles.
Two other bouncers, aged 29 and 37, and a 29-year-old woman who worked at the venue booking tables were also stabbed.
Their injuries are not life-threatening. Cops are quizzing a 26-year-old man on suspicion of murder after the brutal knifing.
Tudor came to Britain just a few months ago with girlfriend Madalina Anghel to find work as a security guard so they could save up for a wedding.
She said yesterday: “Right now I can’t think about him in the past.
“He was my future husband and we came to London from Romania for a better life.
“I can’t explain in words how much pain I am in. He was a really good man.
“We were happily and excitedly talking about having children together.”
Tudor was not supposed to be working that night but had agreed to cover a shift for a colleague who could not make it to work, according to Sky News.
He was a keen kickboxer and rower.
The sports fan had worked at the venue before and was an experienced doorman. The property’s events are invite-only and it can cost up to £3,000 to get in some nights.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Partridge said: “This shocking attack has left one man dead and three others with significant injuries.
“The fact this takes place during New Year celebrations has rightly captured attention.”
Davenport’s lawyer yesterday insisted he was not at the party and had nothing to do with organising it.
He added: “The instructions I have got from him is that he was not there and does not hold events there.
“It was not Mr Davenport’s party. He does not rent that property and that party was nothing to do with him.”
