Vile trolls set up Tinder profile for missing Madeleine McCann claiming she’s ‘down the pub drinking Sangria’
The sick account makes light of the high-profile disappearance and dubs the missing youngster 'hide and seek champion 2007'
A VILE Tinder profile for Madeleine McCann has emerged on the dating app claiming the missing girl is "down the pub drinking sangria".
The sick account, understood to have been created in Glasgow, makes light of the high-profile disappearance.
In the description section of the account, the keyboard warrior describes Maddie as "hide n seek world champion 2007".
It continues: "Had the worst holiday in Portugal, would not recommend to a friend.
"Just down at the pub drinking sangria x".
Some people posted on social media sharing screenshots from the account.
One said: "somec*** made a Maddie McCann tinder", with several see-no-evil emojis.
Another person shared a snap of the post, adding: "the one that got away".
Tinder has been contacted for comment.
Three-year-old Maddie disappeared from an apartment during a family holiday in Praia da Luz, Portugal in May 2007.
Search supporters recently called for the McCann's to be given more cash to help find their missing daughter.
It comes a short time after a similar incident in Scotland when a Facebook profile was created pretending to be Maddie, saying: "am back f***ers".
The hoax profile joined the social media site before posting a picture captioned: “Am back troops, been a long 10 years, whos onit x.”

The McCann's were recently buoyed by the finding of American schoolgirl Jayme Closs, who escaped from a cabin in the woods where she'd been held for months.
The official Find Maddie Campaign posted online: "Such great news. Jayme is an example of why we never lose hope and never stop searching."
