Woman ‘repeatedly gang-raped female victim who was pinned down by two men’ in first sex attack case of its kind in India
An unidentified woman claims she was subjected to repeated sexual and physical assaults which began in March last year
A WOMAN in India says she was repeatedly gang-raped by a female teenager with a sex toy as two men held her down.
It is the first case of its kind since same sex relations were decriminalised last year.
The accused, only identified as Shivani, 19 from New Delhi, is said to have raped the woman with a sex toy while two men, Rohit and Rahul, held her down.
A third man, Sagar, has also been arrested and charged with aiding the confinement of the woman.
According to News18, the victim was subject to repeated sexual and physical assaults which began in March 2018.
She says she was initially taken to an apartment in Dilshad colony where the two men raped her and filmed videos in an attempt to blackmail her.
The two men then are said to have forced her to serve clients with the accused woman regularly trying to get close to her and if she resisted she was beaten up.
The victim said: “The trio forced me to have sex with them. Then it became a gang affair. Soon, I was sent to serve clients and the accused woman was always there in the apartment.
My rapist was not forced to rape me. She was deriving pleasure out of it
Statement from the victim
“My rapist was not forced to rape me. She was deriving pleasure out of it. I want her punished along with the other two.”
The victim claimed the woman used sex toys on her to “prepare” for clients.
Months later, the victim was rescued by social activist Hemant Sharma and taken to the Seemapuri Police Station in the nation’s capital.
India’s Supreme Court’s Constitution Bench decriminalised same-sex intercourse under Section 377 of the Penal Code in September last year.
In a separate case, primary school teacher Mahendra Singh Gond recently received the death penalty after a raped a four-year-old girl so badly she needed an operation on her intestines.
