A BUTCHER held over student Libby Squire’s disappearance has been charged with voyeurism and indecency offences - but not her abduction.

Polish dad-of-two Pawel Relowicz, 24, was quizzed for 96 hours and will appear in court this morning.

He will face charges of voyeurism, outraging public decency and three counts of burglary at Hull Magistrates Court.

They relate to other cases and are not linked to Libby's disappearance.

He remains under investigation over Libby's disappearance after the second-year philosophy and religion student, 21, vanished on January 31.

Detective Superintendent Matt Hutchinson said: "24-year-old Pawel Relowicz of Raglan Street, Hull has today been charged with voyeurism, outraging public decency and three counts of burglary.

"An offence of outraging public decency was reported to have taken place on 19 January 2019 in Hull and an offence of voyeurism was reported on the 26 December 2018 in Hull.

THE HUNT CONTINUES

"The three burglaries were reported between December 2017 and January 2019."

"He has been remanded in custody and is will appear at Hull Magistrates Court tomorrow morning."

Relowicz was arrested at the home he shares with his wife, Jagoda, 24, and two kids, midweek at 9pm.

His silver Vauxhall Astra was seized by cops and has since been subjected to a thorough forensic examination.

Officers also took away a computer for examination.

Forensic officers concluded their searches on the property this morning.

Steel shutters have since been put up on the front door to prevent possible vandalism.

His mother Marzena Relowicz today said she was stunned and confused at the charges.

She said: “I am in shock and there must be something wrong here. It’s not normal for him.

“I am in confused. I have not spoken to Jagoda (his wife) but she text to say she and the children are doing well and are fine.”

Married Rełowicz's home, which is less than a mile from where Libby was last seen on January 31, was searched by police following his arrest.

A huge search was launched after Libby vanished when she was turned away from a nightclub for being too drunk.

The second-year philosophy undergraduate was put in a taxi and was last seen on a park bench near her student digs at 11.45pm.

SEARCH FOR LIBBY

CCTV footage showed a woman believed to be Libby getting into a car and being driven away at 12.09am.

In separate footage revealed by The Sun, a similar car was seen being driven half a mile away ten minutes later.

A woman living close to where Libby was last seen later described hearing "bloodcurdling screams" at 12.30am – around 20 minutes after she vanished.

February 10: Pawel Relowicz is charged with voyeurism & indecency and remains under investigation over the disappearance. The outraging public decency offence allegedly took place on January 19, 2019, and the charge of voyeurism was reported on December 26, 2018. The three burglaries allegedly took place between December 2017 and January 2019.

After she was reported missing, cops searched a river and pond close to her home but no trace has been found.

Bins, drains and gardens were also combed by officers but searches have so far proved fruitless.

POLICE STILL HOPEFUL

Her parents, Lisa, 48, and Russell, 53, have now travelled from the family home in High Wycombe, Bucks, to Hull.

The couple visited her home close to the university and walked around the area where she was last seen.

Mum Lisa was yesterday seen hugging a police officer as the hunt for her daughter entered its tenth day.

Cops were also seen using a specialist infrared camera on outbuildings close to Libby's home.

The hi-tech gadget is capable of detecting people who may be hidden or partially obscured by cover.

It is also equipped with an audio microphone that allows an operator to listen for signs of a hidden subject.

Senior cops are still treating Libby's disappearance as a missing persons inquiry.

Libby’s devastated university housemate Chloe Wise posted a series of pictures of her and her friend together on Instagram.

The three images show both girls happy and smiling on a beach with the caption "Thinkin of better days" with a heart emoji.
