Who is Amy Klobuchar, is she running for President in 2020 and what has Trump said about her?
The Minnesota Senator has a reputation for niceness but will that be enough to win the White House?
THE race for the Democratic nomination to fight the 2020 presidential election is hotting up as more candidates enter the race.
Amy Klobuchar is one of record five women to throw their hat into the ring in the fight to face Donald Trump for the White House. Here’s what you need to know about her.
A spokesman, however, said she “loves her staff ― they are the reason she has gotten to where she is today” adding that many “have been with her for years”.
What has Donald Trump said about her?
Trump mocked Senator Amy Klobuchar for kicking off her 2020 presidential bid with a speech about global warming in a blizzard.
The US President took to Twitter to say the Democrat “looked like a Snowman(woman)” by the end of her rousing speech.
He attempted to claim that it was “bad timing” for the politician to “talk proudly of fighting global warming while standing in a virtual blizzard of snow, ice and freezing temperatures.”
But Klobuchar immediately fired back and told Trump “science is on my side”.
She also made a jibe about his hair tweeting: "Science is on my side, @realDonaldTrump.
"Looking forward to debating you about climate change (and many other issues).
"And I wonder how your hair would fare in a blizzard?
