R KELLY raged at his ex-wife for "destroying my name" hours before he was jailed over £123,000 in unpaid child support.
The R&B singer - facing ten sex charges - hit out at ex Andrea in a tearful TV interview in which he denied tying her up and choking her.
Kelly, 52, spent three nights in a Chicago prison last month after failing to come up with $100,000 bail.
A lawyer for the Grammy-winner — who has sold 30million albums — said he "really doesn't have any more money" after hangers-on mismanaged his finances.
And last night he was hauled back to jail hours after the first part of his bizarre CBS interview on the sex allegations was broadcast.
In another clip revealed by the network today, he claimed he went to the bank for the first time ever last month after being ordered to cough up $161,663 back payments to Andrea, mum to his three kids.
The I Believe I Can Fly singer said through tears: "How can I pay child support? How? My ex-wife is destroying my name.
"And I can't work. How can I work, how can I get paid, how can I take care of my kids, how?"
The furious star went on: "Thirteen years being married.
"I flew in on a helicopter with a damn puppy and I proposed to Drea, whom I was in love with and told her, hey look: 'I make mistakes, I'm not perfect.'
"We got married, OK? We had three beautiful kids.
"Not once have I ever had a domestic violence call at the house and all this, that and the other. It never happened, OK?"
Ex-dancer Andrea told the told the Surviving R Kelly documentary how he choked and "hog-tied" her and almost killed her during their abusive marriage.
But Kelly told CBS: "She's not telling the truth.
"I love her to death, I have nothing against her still. That is my kids' mother ...I don't know how to hog-tie people.
"My kids is listening to this. All of this nonsense. And I ain't been spending no time with them.
"What kind of woman would tear down a dad who's trying to have a relationship with their kids?"
He added he currently has "zero" relationship with his children - adding: "But I know my kids love me".
Kelly used the controversial interview to protest his innocence after he was charged last month with ten counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving four women - including three who were underage at the time.
At one point he appeared to be physically restrained as he loomed over TV host Gayle King and yelled “I’m fighting for my f***ing life”.
He has accused the alleged victims of lying and added: "I have been assassinated. I have been buried alive. But I'm alive."
Kelly also denied claims he keeps young women as slaves in a "sex cult".
Two of his live-in girlfriends also appeared on the CBS to defend him.
