Man, 19, fighting for life after being stabbed in East Dulwich – as knife epidemic roars on
A 19-YEAR-OLD is fighting for life after being stabbed in south east London.
The man was knifed in Pytchley Road, East Dulwich at 3.20pm.
Officers were pictured at the site as they cordoned off roads and questioned witnesses.
Armed cops could be seen within a crime scene on the Dog Kennel Hill Estate.
There have been no arrests at this stage.
It comes amid escalating knife crime in the capital, and across the UK.
The latest attack comes weeks after a fatal stabbing rocked the same neighbourhood.
Dennis Anderson, 39, died after having his “throat slit” in a “row over a cigarette” outside an off-licence in East Dulwich on February 10.
Yesterday Asda pledged to remove all single kitchen knives from all its stores by the end of April amid the soaring violence on UK streets.
It comes as the UK murder rate soars to the highest number for a decade.
Knife crime has also increased by eight per cent as violence spirals out of control across the country.
