New Zealand Police commissioner Mike Bush has confirmed that investigators discovered an additional body at one of the places of worship.

He said: “As of last night we were able to take all of the victims from both of those scenes.

“In doing so we were able to locate a further victim.”

This comes as a new picture has emerged of Tarrant grimacing as he is arrested by brave officers after the senseless slaughter, part of which was broadcast live on Facebook.

Meanwhile, two people arrested yesterday have been released without charge after a third man, who was armed at the scene, was let go.

A fourth man, Daniel John Burrough, 18, was charged with intent to excite hostility or ill will against any group of persons on the ground of the colour, race or ethnic or national origins.

DEATH TOLL RISING

Sicko killer Tarrant smirked in court and flashed a white power symbol as he was charged with murder on Saturday morning.

He will appear in court again next month and more murder charges are expected to follow.

The evil mass shooter, who posted a chilling manifesto online, started the terror assault at the Al Noor mosque in Christchurch before driving about three miles across town and attacking the Linwood mosque.

A further 50 people were injured while 36 of those wounded remain in hospital.

Tarrant had “intended to continue with his attack” when he was tackled by hero cops, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
