THIS is the sickening moment a teenager is brutally stabbed to death by a “pack of animals” mob in broad daylight.
Azaan Kaleem, 18, died in his mum's arms after he was knifed up to 20 times in a frenzied 22-second attack.
The teen was set upon near his home in Luton, Beds. for supposedly giving one of the thugs a funny look.
Shocking footage shows Azaan being stabbed repeatedly through his padded jacket in March last year.
His heartbroken mum, Roseann Taylor, bravely allowed the horrific CCTV footage of her son’s final moments to be broadcast in a BBC documentary called Stabbed: Britain’s Knife Crime Crisis tonight.
Roseann hopes the shocking video will raise awareness about the appalling consequences of the knife crime epidemic sweeping the nation.
She described Azaan's last hours to the show's presenter Duwayne Brooks, who was with his friend Stephen Lawrence on the night he was stabbed to death in a racist attack in Eltham, South East London in 1993.
Roseann was called to the scene on Hartsfield Road after her son had collapsed into the arms of girlfriend Shannon and another friend, who were with him at the time.
She said: "It was mayhem. There was police everywhere, there was a helicopter flying and I could just see people around him.
"The helicopter paramedics came down and they just kept working on him and working on him.
"I didn't know if it was serious, not serious, nobody would tell me anything."
TRAGIC TEEN DIED IN MUM'S ARMS
Azaan was rushed to hospital but died of his injuries two days later. The first knife blow went straight into his heart, causing catastrophic damage.
Roseann said: "I went to see him as they wheeled him into theatre. He was grey and he was cold and he was wet and I kissed him, told him I loved him and told him that I'd see him soon.
"The next time I saw him was in intensive care.
"He was in brain hypoxia which means that he was brain dead and that we should round everybody up to say goodbye.
"What should have been a private moment (wasn't). There was no control, there was no... what a mother should normally do.
"Even switching off his machine was witnessed by the police, people could hear outside the curtains - there was no dignity.
"No mum should have to stroke her child's head and kiss them goodbye and wait for their heart beat to stop, it should never happen."

Azaan had been set to ask Shannon to marry him the month after his death and his family told the documentary she "has fallen to pieces" since his death.
Two men aged 18 and 19, who cannot be named, were given life sentences after being convicted of murder.
Harrison Searle, 18, of Derwent Road, Luton, who was also convicted of murder, has been sentenced to 16 years in jail.
Reece Bliss-McGrath, 20, who was found guilty of manslaughter, was sentenced to 11 years.
The documentary sees Duwayne talk to victims, authorities and former offenders who have been affected by Britain's knife crisis.
Last year marked the 25th anniversary of Stephen Lawrence's death, a tragedy the presenter said still affects him to this day.
He said: "This is a subject of utmost importance to me and something that I am extremely passionate about.

"It grieves me that people are still suffering from such senseless, violent crime and untreated trauma as we did in the aftermath of Stephen’s death.
"I want to give a voice to those left behind, try to get to the heart of the issues in the communities affected, and explore the reasons behind the recent increase in violent crime across the country."
There were 285 fatal stabbings in England and Wales last year, the highest figure in a decade.
