DONALD Trump has branded Robert Mueller’s report “crazy” and “b******t” as he continues to his verbal assault on the Special Counsel’s investigation.

The 448-page document cleared the President of criminal conspiracy with Moscow but said he tried to remove Mueller and also cited instances of possible obstruction.

Trump flew down to his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida, where he greeted crowds of enthusiastic banner carrying supporters.

He carried on his Twitter assault on the Mueller report as well as his Democrat opponents in Congress.

“Statements are made about me by certain people in the Crazy Mueller Report, in itself written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, which are fabricated & totally untrue,” he wrote

“Watch out for people that take so-called “notes,” when the notes never existed until needed.

“Because I never agreed to testify, it was not necessary for me to respond to statements made in the “Report” about me, some of which are total bullshit & only given to make the other person look good (or me to look bad).

“This was an Illegally Started Hoax that never should have happened.”

What the Mueller report revealed

The report was the result of a 22-month investigation by former FBI director Robert Mueller

Sarah Sanders fake news

White House press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had no basis for suggesting FBI officials had lost faith in then-director James Comey at the time of his firing, as she’d claimed.

After Donald Trump fired Comey in May 2017, Sanders told reporters that she had personally heard from “countless members” within the agency who were happy with the president’s decision.

Hope Hicks hung up on Putin

Campaign press secretary Hope Hicks received a call from an unknown Russian man shortly after Trump’s victory on election night.

She had difficulty understanding the foreign accent, but made out the words “Putin call”.

Hicks told the caller to send her an email and the following morning she received a message with the subject line “Message from Putin”.

Trump says ‘I’m F***ed’

Trump feared the Russia probe would end his presidency and declared “I'm f***ed" when he was first told about Robert Mueller's investigation, the report says.

President tried to get Mueller fire – twice

The report says Trump instructed White House lawyer Don McGahn to remove Muller from the probe.

According to the report, Trump twice asked McGhan to fire the investigator telling him “Mueller has to go” adding “call me back when you do it.”

Aides ignore Trump’s orders to interfere

Trump made several attempts to get the people around him to curtail the probe into his campaign and Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

The Mueller report found that Trump’s inner circle saved him from himself as they refused to carry out orders that could have crossed the line into obstructing justice

Sessions carried a resignation letter

Sessions, fearful of his tense relationship with Trump, carried a resignation letter with him every time he visited the White House for months.

Why Mueller didn’t interview Trump

The Mueller report lays out why the special counsel’s office did not interview Trump as part of the investigation.

The two sides spent “more than a year” negotiating the conditions under which the president could answer questions, but in the end only submitted answers to written inquiries.

In the end, Mr Mueller decided not to subpoena Mr Trump because it would take too long — not because there was any legal impediment.

Earlier the former Apprentice host, whose TV catchphrase was "you're fired", has claimed he could have “ended the whole Witch Hunt if I wanted.”

Tweeting out a quote claiming he was “framed,” the Republican firebrand wrote: “I had the right to end the whole Witch Hunt if I wanted.

“I could have fired everyone, including Mueller, if I wanted. I chose not to. I had the RIGHT to use Executive Privilege. I didn’t!”

Trump, who views the report’s findings as a victory, later wrote that former President Barack Obama was to blame for Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

He posted: “Anything the Russians did concerning the 2016 Election was done while Obama was President.

DON THE OFFENSIVE

“He was told about it and did nothing! Most importantly, the vote was not affected.”

Despite Trump’s bravado, former FBI director Mueller’s report cited 10 instances of possible obstruction of justice by the president.

According to the document, there is “substantial evidence” that Trump attempted to remove Mueller from the investigation because “the president was being investigated for potential obstruction of justice.”

The instances include allegedly asking then-FBI Director James Comey to drop a probe into the US leader's then-national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Another example is Trump's firing of Comey in May 2017 after the top cop's unwillingness to say publicly that the New York property tycoon was not personally under investigation.

On the day after the firing, the president told Russian officials that he had "faced great pressure because of Russia. That's taken off."

The reports also says the brash billionaire instructed White House lawyer Don McGahn to remove Muller from the probe.

This happened once month after the former FBI chief was appointed to the investigation following Trump’s sacking of James Comey.

According to the report, Trump twice asked McGhan to fire the investigator telling him “Mueller has to go” adding “call me back when you do it.”

Did Trump commit obstruction of justice?

  • Mueller also investigated whether Trump obstructed justice, but could not come to a definitive answer, Attorney General William Barr said in a letter to Congress summing up the report.
  • But the special counsel did "not exonerate" Trump of obstructing justice, Barr added.
  • After consulting with other Justice Department officials, Barr said he and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein found the evidence was "not sufficient to establish that the president committed an obstruction of justice offence."

McGhan reportedly felt “word down” and “trapped” by the US President and tried to quit rather than carry out the alleged command.

However, when White House aides persuaded him not to leave, Trump never asked him if he had fired Mueller, the report says.

The explosive reports also states Trump said "This is the end of my presidency. I'm f***ed" when he was first told about Mueller's investigation.

The US President made the comment to former Attorney General Jeff Sessions when he told him about the probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I'm f***ed

Trump's alleged response to learning of the Russia probe

According to Sessions' chief of staff Jody Hunt, the brash New York billionaire said: "Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I'm f***ed."

Trump, angry at the attorney general's decision to recuse himself from the investigation, asked Sessions: "How could you let this happen, Jeff?" the reports claims.

The outspoken US leader reportedly told Sessions that he'd heard special counsels ruin presidencies and that the probe could take "years and years and I won't be able to do anything."

The report says that The Donald declared: "This is the worst thing to ever happen to me."

Mueller was appointed in May 2017 after the US President sacked FBI director James Comey - who was heading the investigation into the Trump campaign's alleged ties to Moscow.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was then appointed to oversee the special counsel after Sessions recused himself because of his fervent support for Trump during the election.
