A MAN, 21, was stabbed to death in a string of four knifings in just seven hours in Lawless London.
Police were scrambled to attacks across the capital - West Drayton, Harlesden, Wembley and Merton - between 3pm and 10pm yesterday.
Tragically, Met Police this morning confirmed the 21-year-old man had died from his injuries after a gang attacked him in North West London last night.
A spokesperson said: "Detectives believe that the suspects arrived in two cars before blocking traffic in order to carry out the attack.
"The victim fled into a bookmakers to seek help before the arrival of emergency services."
Seven men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of offences including possession of an offensive weapon and attempted murder. They remain in custody.
Footage of the aftermath of the attack shows a woman crying as she speaks to police.
Detective Chief Inspector Glen Lloyd, said: "I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this violent attack to come forward and contact the incident room. We know that the suspects blocked the road; this would have held up a number of vehicles including a Route 18 bus. Were you on this bus at 9pm?
"I would ask that anyone who filmed the assault on a mobile phone or who may have captured it on a dash cam to call us. “It is important that we build up a picture of what happened on the High Street last night.”
The man's next of kin has been informed. A post-mortem will be held in due course.
KNIFE CRIME EPIDEMIC
The attack came barely an hour before another man was badly injured when he was stabbed in Morden Road, Merton, at 10pm.
Earlier that night, a 28-year-old was found suffering from stab wounds following a fight outside a Tesco in Wembley at 6.30pm.
He was rushed to hospital and cops have said his condition is being treated as "life-threatening".
At 3pm earlier in the day, a man was found with stab injuries 13 miles away in West Drayton.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The shocking attacks - one after another - are yet more evidence of the knife crime epidemic gripping the capital.
Police have arrested seven people for offences including GBH, assisting an offender and possession of firearms following the West Drayton attack.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: "Police were called at around 10pm to reports of a stabbing in Morden Road.
"A man was found with stab injuries. He has been taken to hospital and his condition is non-life threatening."
The latest string of stabbings come after a man was left with "life-threatening" stab wounds after being slashed near Brick Lane on Saturday.
LAWLESS LONDON
Meanwhile, on the same day a man in his 20s was stabbed in Hyde Park as thousands gathered for a pro-cannabis event.
On Saturday morning, two men in their 20s were rushed to hospital after they were stabbed in East London.
Figures from London's Metropolitan police showed that knife crime surged by 16 per cent in the capital year-on-year in 2018, as Britain's crime epidemic continues.
There were 1,299 stabbings in London up to the end of April, according to official statistics from the Met Police.
In 2017-18, there were 137 knife offences for every 100,000 people in the capital.
