Children as young as NINE are desperate to be the next James Bond as MI5 reveals adorable letters
Senior government security sources said they have been 'staggered' by the amount of thought put into the letters
JUNIOR James and Jane Bonds are queuing up to apply for MI5, The Sun can reveal.
And their impressive, hand-written applications can be disclosed for the first time, with some of the amazing letters from wannabe spies from children as young as NINE.
Last night senior Government security sources said they had been “staggered” by the amount of thought put into the letters, which all receive an official reply from MI5.
They agreed to publication on the condition that all of the children’s names and identifying details were removed for security reasons. The express permission of the children’s parents or guardians was sought and granted in advance.
Andrew Parker, MI5’s Director General, told The Sun: “MI5 is deeply grateful for the support of the British public, including from children interested in our work. While potential recruits have to be 18 to apply, we have been delighted to receive children’s letters and contributions, and impressed by some particularly creative ideas.
“Meanwhile, we would ask anyone with information they think could be valuable to national security to contact MI5 or the police, using the details on our website. You can contact us anonymously, and any information will always be treated in confidence.”
'I will be as fast as a tiny squirrel'
I’M writing to you with a request to become a Spy for the British government when I’m older.
I love watching spy films including Spy Kids, James Bond, as well as Johnny English. I have learned lots of spy strategies such as being mindful, sneaky and decisive in a dangerous situation.
I love learning and most people in my class say I’m very secretive.
I am the sportiest boy in my whole school. I play cricket, hockey, football and tennis and used to play handball and perform gymnastics.
I will be fit, fast and strong. I love parkour, which means I will be outstanding at getting in and out of places as fast as a tiny squirrel.

The s.k.s is a supersuit that I have designed at home, it has a lense in the eye so you can take a picture.
MOST READ IN UK NEWS
It has lights for each different mission, eg blue if your going under the sea. Or camo if your in the woods.
It’s for spys and I would love to see a spy using it on a important mission, if not, that’s OK.
