People worldwide are more stressed — with those in Chad the most miserable
A poll has revealed that those living in the poverty-rife nation have the most negative experiences
PEOPLE worldwide are becoming more stressed — with those in African republic Chad the most miserable, a poll reveals.
The poverty-rife nation has been torn apart by internal conflict and a humanitarian crisis.
And more than 70 per cent of people there said they struggle to afford food
The annual Gallup Global Emotions Report quizzed 150,000 people in more than 140 countries on their positive and negative experiences.
Gallup said: “Chad’s overall score at least partly reflects the violence, displacement and collapse of basic services that have affected thousands.”
The most positive country was Paraguay. The UK was 46th, the US 39th. Greece was the most stressed.
