The kinky sex parties at The Croydon Hall Hotel have been described as 'Disneyland for Adults'

SEX-hungry swingers have paid £80-per-night to attend a party and the locals are outraged.

Punters made their way to The Croydon Hall Hotel in Exmoor to join the late-night adult party which has eight “playrooms” which were set up for a variety of kinky tastes.

One is called The Red Room and is said to contain S&M gear including whips, paddles and a sex swing.

The venue is currently being investigated by the Exmoor National Park Authority over concerns it may not have the correct planning permission for its parties.

Residents in the village of Rodhuish, Somerset, where the hotel is located, are outraged that what has been described as “Disneyland for adults” has been set up.

Anne Pitts, 66, who moved to the area nine years ago, told the : “People come to Exmoor on holiday and they do not expect to stumble across a sex club in this beautiful area. It makes me feel sick.”

On Saturday the hotel was hosting a sex-themed night called “Naughty Girls Rule” which was being promoted with an image of one woman kissing another’s breast.

More than 40 patrons are said to have attended who were mainly couple, one foursome and a handful of single young women, according to the news site.

Their clothes didn’t stay on for long though as women dressed only in black underwear could be seen through the windows cuddling one another and the men stripped to their underwear.

One woman appeared to be binding another’s wrists, according to the report.

One party goer said they’d had “a lovely evening” as they left in the early hours.

The parties are organised by Exclusively Silks and patrons have to fork out £60-a-year for membership and then pay an additional fee for the parties which have included ‘Trio Night’, ‘Fetish Party’ and ‘Discovering Swinging’.

'NAUGHTY GIRLS RULE'

Any prospective member has to fill out a questionnaire which includes questions about their body shape, tattoos, piercings as well as their sexual preferences, which include things like bondage, S&M, if they are happy to be filmed having sex and if they would like to perform on stage to thrill others.

But the swinger may have to find another venue as the hotel is currently being investigated over planning concerns.

Dean Kinsella, head of planning and sustainable development for the Exmoor National Park Authority said: “The alleged breach is that the building is being used for a mixed use as a hotel/ private members' club.

“We are currently in the process of preparing an enforcement notice, as we consider that a change of use of the hotel has occurred.”

Villagers have also opposed a licence application filed by the owner of Exclusively Silks, Allen McCloud, 59, who wants to be able to serve alcohol until 4am.

The venue is currently able to offer late-night sex parties thanks to a temporary license.

One local said the sex club was a step too far and he and his wife were moving out after living in the village for 17 years.

'DISNEYWORLD FOR ADULTS'

Paul Bateman, 69, said: “People are going to go outside, it's going to happen.

“When the better weather comes, who knows what is going to go on?”

David Pitts, 69, said that while he wasn’t against people having sex he thought the hotel was the venue was the wrong place for it.

He said: “The access is narrow and steep so we have the noise from revving engines and people shouting. We are disturbed on and off for three hours in the middle of the night.”

Mr McCloud denied claims his guests were disrespectful to the neighbours and said he had soundproofed the building.

He told : “You have to have a special licence for sex things if you are selling anything sexual, like DVDs, but this is just a hotel. It's basically Disneyworld for adults.

“What people do in a hotel is up to them. They hire the venue for an evening where they have a dancefloor, a bar, and if they want to go up to the playrooms and have some fun, they can go and do that.

“We went from eight to twelve couples and at our last party we had 75. We've got doctors and a barrister who comes. They are quite well-to-do and we have some nice sports cars parked outside. We're a high-end club.”

The district council is set to discuss Mr McCloud’s licence application on Monday April, 29.
