The teen ate a beef burger and woke up the next day with giant swollen lips
A WOMAN'S lips swelled up to cartoonish proportions as she hilariously live tweeted her allergic reaction.
Amiyah Evans, 18, ate a beef burger and woke up surprised to find that her lips had tripled in size, prompting her to visit the hospital.
She said that she went to see doctors about her swelling, but after they gave her Benadryl - a standard allergy medication - her swelling did not go down.
Three hours later, she was in hospital and was struggling to get words out through her fully swollen lips.
She ended up spending a couple of days in the hospital being treated, saying that comments from people kept her going. She added: "It’s funny. I'm glad that I can give other people a good laugh about it."
In another post of selfies, she wrote: "I LOOK SO STUPPIIDDDDDDDDD."
Amiyah told Buzzfeed: "I didn't really panic about it at first because my siblings were making fun of me anyway, so I just made a big joke out of it."
She also tweeted: "for everyone asking... I bought some hamburger meat from Sam’s Club instead of where I normally get food which is walmart annnddd.. this happened."
Amiyah is now out of hospital but still has some swelling in her face, however her lips are back to normal.
