Hero teen who saved Brit squaddie Sarah Garrity when she was stabbed in the neck in a Magaluf bar says bloody scene ‘was like a movie’
Kane Sharman, 19, was partying with pals when he spotted the 22-year-old ‘lifeless on the floor’ in Bananas de Magaluf nightclub last month
A HERO teen who saved the life of a "glassed" British squaddie when her throat was allegedly slit by another soldier has described the bloody scene as "like something from a movie".
Kane Sharman was partying with pals when he spotted Glasgow-born Sarah Garrity, 22, "lifeless on the floor" and bleeding profusely after reportedly being
The 19-year-old, who is originally from Surrey, had been living in the Spanish party resort just two weeks when he came across the terrifying scene.
The teen, who repeatedly monitored Sarah’s pulse to make sure she was still stable until paramedics arrived, has been desperate to meet her since the attack and said "all that mattered" was to know she was alive.
Kane, who was given first aid training at school, said: “A few pals came up to me on the dance floor and asked me to have a look outside, as a girl was bleeding because a glass had been smashed.
“I wanted to help – there was blood everywhere and people screaming. She was lifeless on the floor and we all thought she was dead.
“I was terrified, I think everyone was. I’m first aid trained, which is why I thought it was necessary for me to be there.
“No one could talk to her as she was unconscious.
Kane said he had no contact with Sarah since she was whisked away to hospital and felt concerned for days over her condition.
The 19-year-old said he had never seen anything like the attack while working in Magaluf but wanted to make holidaymakers aware of the dangers.
He added: “I worried about it the rest of the night and all of the next day. I was getting horrible thoughts about the situation.

“I’ve not actually been able to speak to her since.
"All I know is she’s alive and that’s all that matters.
“My only tip for people who come out to Magaluf is to be really careful, anything can happen.”
“I went over and grabbed her wrist to check for a pulse. I accepted the screaming and confusion and just held tightly to make sure her pulse didn’t stop.
“Multiple times I asked people to be quiet as it wasn’t helping, and we waited for the ambulance.”
'THE RED MIST JUST DESCENDED'
Witness Charlie Martin, 24, told The Sun Online he saw the two women arguing at the bar and tried to calm things down after one got a bloody nose.
Martin, from Portishead, said: "It was a real shock and I immediately stepped in between them and said: 'Come on, come on, there's no need for that' when suddenly 'bang' the other smaller girl smacked her on the shoulder blade with her beer bottle.
"It was a really nasty hit and the red mist just descended."Holdaymaker Alice Gascoigne, 18, from Coventry, told The Sun Online: "Everyone was screaming, there was so much blood. She came out the club and she was holding her neck and she had a white top on and it was literally covered in red. Then she passed out and had a fit."
Another witness described the scene as a "bloodbath".
Pakistani kebab shop worker Suleiman was working next door when the victim collapsed outside his restaurant.
He said: "I couldn't look it was so horrible. It was horrific. There was blood everywhere.
"I could hardly bring myself to look. It was a huge gash, and quite a hole that wouldn't stop bleeding.
"There was piles of blood on the pavement and a group of around 80 or more people around her when the ambulance turned up."
Another eyewitness said: “It was a very deep cut. There was a lot of blood. She tried to get up but collapsed.”
