George Galloway SACKED by talkRADIO after ‘anti-Semitic’ comments following Tottenham’s Champions League defeat
GEORGE Galloway has been sensationally sacked by talkRADIO following his "anti-Semitic" comments following Spurs' Champions League defeat to Liverpool.
The former Labour MP caused uproar when he
Galloway took to social media to leave the message which has racked up more than 560 shares and 2,000 likes.
He tweeted: "Congratulations to the great people of #Liverpool to the memory of the socialist miner #BillShankley to the fallen #96 to those who fought for justice for them and to the Liverpool dockers.
"No #Israël flags on the Cup!"
But after the post received widespread criticism - including from Tottenham Hotspur and Lord Sugar - Galloway confirmed on Twitter that he'd been given the boot.
And he urged the radio giants to prepare for a court battle.
He said: "I’ve just been sacked by @talkRADIO See you in Court guys. #Palestine #Moats Long live Palestine."
talkRADIO confirmed the sacking.
A spokesperson said: "talkRADIO has terminated George Galloway's weekly show with immediate effect.

We told earlier today how Spurs issued a scathing assessment of Galloway's comments.
Speaking to Sky Sports a spokesperson for the club said: "It's astounding in this day and age to read such blatant antisemitism published on a social platform by someone who is still afforded air time on a radio station on which he has previously broken broadcast impartiality rules."
