DONALD Trump has indicated “big tech” companies like Facebook, Google and Amazon should be fined, saying they were “colluding” against him.
The US President, 72, sounded off against the hi-tech giants saying they discriminated against him and colluded with the Democratic Party against him.
Donald Trump told : “I can tell you they discriminate against me.
“People talk about collusion. The real collusion is between the Democrats and these companies because they were so against me during my election run.
“Everybody said if you don’t have them, you can’t win.
“Well I won, and I’ll win again because we’re doing well and we’re not the fools anymore.”
While he attacked the European Union’s antitrust laws which Trump claimed attacked US companies like Facebook and Amazon, he said the US should follow the EU’s lead an impose fines.
Trump said: “They’re [the EU’s regulations] actually attacking our companies.”

“But we should be doing what they’re doing. They think there’s a monopoly but I’m not sure that they think that they just figure this is easy money. We’ll sue Apple for $7 billion and we’ll make a settlement or win the case.
“So I think it is a bad situation but obviously there is something going on in terms of monopoly.”
Republicans have been putting the big tech firms under increasing scrutiny, saying they discriminate against them and their policies after firms like Facebook started a crackdown on hate speech, the spreading of so-called 'fake news' and far-right hate speech.
The EU hit Google with a huge £1.28billion fine in March this year for “abusing its dominant position”.
It was the third time the European Union has hit Google with a major anti-trust fine, marking an ongoing crackdown on the firm.

According to the EU, Google imposed restrictive contracts on third-party websites, allegedly in a bid to stop Google's rivals from placing search adverts on those same websites.
Google is currently challenging the ruling.
The Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission as well as Congress are all currently gearing up to investigate the operations of the big tech firms over monopoly practices.
