Serial killer Rose West secretly transferred to new prison in her first jail move for over a decade
SERIAL killer Rose West has been secretly moved to a new prison in her first jail move for over a decade.
House of Horrors monster West, 65, was shipped out of Low Newton in Co Durham to New Hall in Wakefield, West Yorks.
Her new home was at the centre of a scandal last year after a transgender rapist sexually assaulted four inmates after duping officials.
Sources said the switch was "routine".
Evil West's move comes amid her failing health in recent years.
She has previously complained of struggling to walk up stairs to her upper landing cell on F Wing as her knees hurt and her eyesight is said to be failing.
She is likely to be caged in New Hall's Poplar House 1 which is reserved specifically for lifers, those serving indeterminate sentences for public protection and other long term sentences.
West got life in 1995 for her part in ten murders, including that of her daughter.
She is the only woman murderer serving life without parole in the UK.
HOUSE OF HORRORS
Her husband Fred, 53, buried some bodies in their garden in Gloucester.
He hanged himself in jail while awaiting trial for 12 murders.
West previously served her sentence at HMP Bronzefield, Middlesex, but was moved to Low Newton in 2008 after a plot to batter her with pool balls in a sock.
She soon became pals with Baby P's vile mum, Tracey Connelly, now 38.
Sources described West's move to New Hall as "routine".
One said: "Cons are often moved around the prison estate. There's no particular reason behind it. It was a routine."
Former New Hall inmate, Karen White, 52, claimed she was transitioning to get a move to the all-women prison despite previous rape claims.

Within months she had attacked four lags and exposed herself.
She has since been moved to all-male Wakefield Prison, dubbed Monster Mansions, to serve life for rape, the prison sex assaults, and wounding.
Last night, the Ministry of Justice refused to comment on individual prisoners.
