SICK ABUSE

Thugs abandon puppies outside rescue centre by tying them to fence with razor wire as they yelp in pain

THIS heartbreaking picture shows two terrified puppies outside a rescue centre that were abandoned by thugs and tied to a fence with a razor wire as they yelped in pain.

The horrific abuse saw both two dogs bound to a gate in Jackson, Mississippi, with one suffering a deep wound to its leg after the wire cut through it.

worker Pippa Jackson stumbled across the dogs while out on a walk on Wednesday.

Pippa took a photo to show the abuse they had suffered before freeing them.

She said: "I hate people. And one will need immediate vet care because the a****les tied them with wire.

"It is a holiday, all vets are full with boarding, and we owe all our vets tons.

"Looks like they tied them to our gate at 9:18 last night and a police officer drove by while they were doing it."

She added: "Come by during working hours so they aren’t tied up to a gate with wire overnight.

"Anything could have happened to them. They could have choked to death.

"The dog could have cut his leg off and bled out.”

Pippa immediately took the poor puppies to the Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi, reported .

She and her colleagues gave the dogs emergency veterinary care, and said both are now on a course of antibiotics and recovering well.

Luckily, the dog pictured with the painful wound will not lose his leg.

The puppies were among 10 dogs that the shelter took in, which has put ARF in desperate need of donations.

Last week, a starving puppy was dumped with his favourite armchair as cruel owners tricked him into thinking they would return.

The little dog sat patiently in the chair by the side of the road last week, and was too scared to leave it in case he missed his carers coming back.

Eventually, a woman saw the malnourished dog sat on the brown chair along a road in Brookhaven, Mississippi, and rang the local animal control officer to rescue him.
