ISIS bride who ‘trained fighters in Syria’ begs to come home to Ireland with daughter, 2, and promises ‘I won’t kill anyone’
JIHADI bride Lisa Smith has begged to be allowed to return to Ireland with her two-year-old daughter - and promised she "won't kill anyone".
The 38-year-old former Irish army soldier - accused of training ISIS fighters in Syria - denies committing any acts of violence and said she doesn't believe she's radicalised.

Smith left her home in Dundalk, Co Louth, for the war-torn region in 2015 and married an ISIS sympathiser who later died fighting. The pair have a two-year-old child.
The former Irish Defence Forces member said that she accepted there was a lot of brutality in the now defunct Islamic state.
Smith told the : "If you ask me am I going to hurt anyone? No. Have I any intentions to do anything? No.
"I’m just interested in trying to bring my daughter up and get her educated.
"I don’t even think I’m radicalised, you know? All I know is I just came to an Islamic State and it failed.
"So, at the beginning I didn’t come to kill anyone and when I was there I didn’t kill anyone and when I go home I’m not going to kill anyone.
"I just think I’m the same, you know?"
She added that she could not say if the perpetrators of ISIS brutality should be punished.
She said: "I cannot answer because I don't know, I don't know who is telling the truth and who is lying."
Lisa is now being kept at the Al Hawl refugee camp on the Syrian border with Iraq.

It was alleged she was behind a new wave of all-female ISIS cells hellbent on revenge attacks on the West and she was regarded by US officials as a "high priority" for assassination in Syria.
Shamima Begum was a schoolgirl when she fled to join the terror cult in Syria. Now aged 19, she wanted to return to the UK but has been stripped of her citizenship.
She and two pals – Kadiza Sultana and Amira Abase – ran away to Syria in February 2015.
Former London student, Samia Hussein, joined ISIS with a number of other Brits, and was only discovered when the stronghold in Baghouz fell last month.
The 25-year-old is thought to be in al-Hol camp in northern Syria, where she called her family three weeks ago to tell them she was alive but mutilated.
She was once a member of the Irish Defence Forces, after joining at 19, and served in the Air Corps.
Despite this training, Smith denies ever picking up a gun and claims she was not allowed to fight for IS.
Smith explained: "That’s not how it works in the Islamic State. That’s not how it works.
"Even if I wanted to fight, tried to fight, they wouldn’t let me."
She also denied ever training young women in combat, despite claims from young women on the contrary.

The ISIS bride claimed that she was unsure as to why it had been alleged that she had trained children saying that "not a lot of people knew" she was in the military.
She stated: "Bring these girls to my face and we all sit here and they can see my face and we can speak and we will see the truth."
She said she would not plan attacks on Ireland if she returned and had no intentions to hurt Irish people.
