Lad, 19, ‘raped by two men in Magaluf after being kicked out of brothel on infamous Punta Ballena strip’

A TEENAGE lad was raped by two men after being kicked out of a brothel on Magaluf's infamous Punta Ballena strip, it has been reported.

The 19-year-old, thought to be from Ireland, said he was attacked after he lost his friends after a night out in the Majorca resort.

According to respected island newspaper Ultima Hora, he was attacked around 5.30am local time on Sunday morning.

It said the holidaymaker was enticed into the brothel by two prostitutes on the promise of a striptease - but thrown out after telling them he had no money.

The two men are said to have been waiting for him when he was kicked out on the street via a back door.

Doctors examined him at Son Espases Hospital in the Majorcan capital Palma and are understood to have confirmed he had been the victim of a sex attack.

A source said that although the tourist spoke to police in hospital about the incident, he had declined to press charges because he “felt ashamed” at what had happened.

He said: “The hospital called police because of the nature of the man’s injuries and officers went to the hospital and spoke to the man but he told them he did not want to press charges.

“He also said he could not remember the name of the brothel he had been in.

“Although he has been described locally as British, police have his nationality as Irish.

“He was due to leave Majorca today so while detectives have recorded the incident, it is difficult to see how the case can progress without a formal complaint or confirmation of where it allegedly took place.”

A Civil Guard spokesman said the force was aware of the incident and officers had attended Son Espases Hospital but confirmed no formal complaint had been made.

In May, a British man told police he had been raped in the Ibiza party resort of San Antonio.

The 27-year-old tourist told officers his sex attacker forced himself on him near the raucous West End area before stealing his phone.
