Mum’s shock as she digs up pot containing five sets of false teeth in Devon garden
MUM Emily Sullivan did some gardening and dug up a pot containing five sets of false teeth.
The plastic gnashers were a foot down at the property where she has lived for a year.
Architect Emily, 38, said: “I thought we found gold, but it turned out to be a pot of false teeth.”
She thinks they may be a memorial to a previous resident of the house.
Emily, of Modbury, Devon, said: “I think someone died and then someone found all these false teeth and thought, ‘that’s almost like a part of them, I think we need to bury them’.
"That's the only explanation I can think of, either that or there's a whole dead body in there."
The ditch where the teeth were found is only 30cm deep, so Emily hopes there are no more unexpected orthodontics to be uncovered.
She continued: "I don't think we will be digging any deeper.
"I think that's it, we have dug all the holes we need to."
