Arnold Schwarzenegger forced to confirm he’s still alive after Trump bizarrely claimed Terminator star ‘died, I was there’
ARNOLD Schwarzenegger was forced to confirm he's still alive today after Donald Trump bizarrely claimed he had "died".
The US president rekindled his long-running feud with the Terminator star during a speech at the White House yesterday.
A White House correspondent reported the remarks on Twitter, saying Mr Trump told a social media summit: "Arnold Schwarzenegger … You know what? He died … I was there.”
Arnie - catchphrase "I'll be back" - quoted that tweet in his reply on Twitter.
He said: "I'm still here. "Want to compare tax returns?"
It was a dig at Mr Trump's refusal to release his financial records amid claims by his lawyer Michael Cohen that he had both exaggerated and understated his assets at various times.
It is believed Mr Trump was talking about TV ratings when he said his rival had "died".
Schwarzenegger, the former Governor of California, replaced Trump as the host of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2015.

The topic of the television show came up during the conference, which is what prompted him to bring up Arnie.
Mr Trump, 73, and Arnie, 71, have been rivals for years.
Last year Arnie mocked the president as a "little wet noodle" who cosied up to Vladimir Putin "like a fanboy".
