R KELLY has been accused of drugging and raping a woman he met in a mall and keeping her captive in his recording studio.
The 52-year-old is currently in federal custody after being arrested last week and is due in court in Chicago on Tuesday.
Federal judges will meet to figure out how to proceed in the case that involves separate indictments in Chicago and New York and whether he is to be given bail.
New details about his alleged crimes have been outlined by prosecutors in New York, who want him kept behind bars.
According to the New York indictment, Kelly – whose real name is Robert S Kelly – is alleged to have committed sex crimes against five women, given the name Jane Doe to protect their identities.
One of the women - dubbed Jane Doe No. 2 - met Kelly in a mall about 15 years ago, while she was her early twenties,
Kelly invited her to his recording studio in Chicago, where his associates made a copy of her driving licence.
They also searched her suitcase and had her sign what she believed was a nondisclosure agreement.
She was taken to a locked bedroom, where she was kept for three days “without sustenance”.
After a member of Kelly’s entourage finally gave her something to eat and drink, she became dizzy and tired.
'DRUGGED AND RAPED'
She woke up to find Kelly with her “in circumstances that made clear he had sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious”, prosecutors say.
Kelly has also been indicted by a federal grand jury in Chicago on 13 counts.
They include conspiracy to obstruct justice and producing child pornography, including four videos that included the girl whose family he is accused of paying.
Meanwhile, lawyer Michael Avenatti has claimed Kelly paid $2 million to stop the alleged victim in a 2008 child pornography trial giving evidence.
The case ended with his acquittal on all charges.
It has also emerged two of Kelly’s 'brainwashed' girlfriends are feared to have made a suicide pact following his arrest.
Jocelyn Savage and Azriel Clary are reported to be living with the R&B star at his apartment in Chicago, where he was arrested on Thursday while walking his dog.

Gerald Griggs, a lawyer acting on behalf of Savage's family, has now said his clients are concerned the two women may be planning to kill themselves if it becomes clear the singer is not coming back, reported.
The singer is accused of having engaged in sexual abuse and misconduct against numerous women and girls over the course of two decades – charges he denies.
Kelly was already facing several charges of aggravated sex.
