Mum, 33, left fighting for life after £3k bum-lift at clinic promoted by Katie Price led to sepsis
A MUM claims she nearly died from sepsis after she jetted out to Turkey for a Brazilian bum lift at a clinic plugged by Katie Price.
Katrina Harrison, 33, was left in agony after her nightmare “VIP” treatment at the Comfort Zone Cosmetic Surgery clinic in Istanbul.
She told the she chose the clinic after model Katie, 41, praised it on social media.
Beautician Katrina from Cheshire forked out £3,000 for a bum lift.
This is a cosmetic operation where fat is taken from the tum and inserted into the hips and backside.
Katrina said: “It was agony. I knew I’d made a terrible mistake. I was so scared, I thought, ‘what have I done? Am I going to leave my son without a mother’?
“I was shaking uncontrollably, in pain, was bleeding and leaking fluid, but kept being told it was all normal.”
Katrina flew home but four days later ended up in hospital for nine days after collapsing when she arrived at Manchester airport.
She says medics found post-op sepsis that could have killed her “in an hour”.
