FACEBOOK users have been left scratching their heads trying to work out where the python is lurking in this picture.
A family from Queensland, Australia snapped the snake fast asleep on their veranda and their photo shows just how well camouflaged the serpent was.
The picture was uploaded to the Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers Facebook page, where readers have been trying to work out just where the snake is.
Stu, who wrote the first post, then did the big reveal two days later: “BIG Python Surprises Lady on Her Sun Lounge!
“Imagine going out onto your deck in the morning and sitting down in the warm morning sun only to realise something else is there enjoying the suns warmth as well.
“Carpet Pythons are the most common snake we catch and don't seemed to bothered by humans. They will often hang out in entertaining areas like this and won’t move even if people are around. Majority of other snakes will retreat to cover when they see someone nearby.”
One follower of the page wrote: “I must be blind I looked so hard at spot the snake and could not find it.”
Another said: “Wow beautiful… just wanted to sunbake!”
A third commented: “He looked so comfy there.”

Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers uploaded a video showing where the snake was.
The python was revealed to be sleeping on the top of the sofa back, just behind the cushions.
In the footage Stu is seen picking up the drowsy snake which is roughly two metres long.
Stu then says the snake needs to back into the wild as the family who own the property have a small animal which could be harmed.
The snake was eventually returned safely to the wild.
