Cops hunt missing man, 28, who vanished on P&O ferry leaving his lorry and belongings on board
COPS have launched a hunt for a 28-year-old man after he vanished on a P&O ferry mid-journey.
Cristian Barbu was on the P&O Ferry ‘The Pride of Hull’ between Rotterdam and Hull on Friday night - but hasn't been seen since.
His HGV and belongings were found abandoned when the ferry docked in Hull.
Humberside Police released a photo of the missing man, who is originally from Romania.
They said: "Cristian who is originally from Romania was travelling on the P&O Ferry ‘The Pride of Hull’ between Rotterdam and Hull overnight from Friday 9 August to Saturday 10 August 2019.
"Mr Barbu was travelling in his HGV, however the vehicle and Cristian's belongings were left abandoned on the ferry’s arrival in Hull.
"We have concerns for his welfare and are looking for help to find him."

It comes after cops launched a desperate search for a 15-year-old girl from Leeds.
Aya Othman was last seen on Sunday night at about 10.30pm in the Woodhouse area.
