Kate and Gerry McCann reveal Nora Quoirin disappearance ‘brings back horror of Maddie vanishing’ as they send prayers to missing Brit’s family
KATE and Gerry McCann have told how Nora Quoirin's disappearance has brought back the horror of Madeleine's vanishing.
The McCanns say their “hearts and prayers” go out to Nora's family after the teen vanished on holiday in chilling echoes of their own daughter’s disappearance.

Kate and Gerry are “hoping beyond hope” that missing Nora is found “safe, alive and well” in a feared abduction that has brought back painful memories of Maddie’s kidnap more than 12 years ago.
Nora’s devastated parents have made heartbreaking appeals since their daughter vanished eight days ago from an eco resort in Malaysia.
McCann spokesman Clarence Mitchell said on Monday night: “As difficult as it is whilst their daughter is missing they are doing all the right things to keep it in the global spotlight.
It brings back the horror for them, the initial hours, days, when their child went missing on holiday.

EERIE SIMILARITIES
Three-year-old Madeleine from Rothley, Leics, was just nine days away from her fourth birthday when she disappeared from a holiday resort on Portugal’s Praia da Luz in May 2007.
Fifteen-year-old Nora, from Balham, South West London, similarly vanished in mysterious circumstances on Sunday August 4, about 39 miles south of the capital Kuala Lumpur.
Both Brit girls are feared to have been snatched by paedophiles on different continents 12 years apart. But eerie similarities exist.
They were on family holidays, the eldest of younger siblings and vanished from their beds, dressed in pyjamas but barefooted.
Cadavar “death scent” dogs have been brought in to help find the youngsters amid heartfelt global media appeals and offers of rewards from business tycoons and celebrities.
Mr Mitchell, speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, said: “A missing child on holiday, especially a young girl, raises alarm bells.
They hope this girl can be found safe, alive and well as they continually hope for their own daughter.

"Kate and Gerry's prayers are with this family and they are wishing them well.
“They will need to maintain a momentum and keep up their hopes, as Kate and Gerry still do.
"They hope this girl can be found safe, alive and well as they continually hope for their own daughter.
“After searching on the ground, and if maybe to no avail, they must continue looking, with private detectives if they can.
"They are facing a similar ordeal to Kate and Gerry and it is heart wrenching.
"But this family has funding and appeals in place and have praised the Malaysian Police for their help.
“They are searching with urgency for a missing girl, in a seemingly organised way, and it is like the initial search for Madeleine many years ago.
"This family need to keep it in the global eye and it’s good that British, French and Irish police are involved in this latest case."
NORA: MISSING 12 DAYS
Meabh and Sebastien, parents of Nora, have offered a £10,000 reward for information that could lead to her safe return as they made an emotional plea saying their "hearts are broken".
A shaman, believed to be be able to summon spirits and drafted in by police, claimed Nora had been lured away from the eco-resort by a “genie."
Mr Mitchell said it had all the echoes of Maddie’s disappearance with devout Catholics Kate and Gerry insisting their daughter was taken by a sex fiend.
They have called on their religion for spiritual guidance and launched a public appeal which won backing from celebs, including soccer hero David Beckham and author JK Rowling.
He said: “It brings all the memories back for them and they have done everything they can to keep Madeleine’s disappearance in the spotlight."

Madeleine vanished from a holiday flat in The Algarve while her parents were dining with pals in a nearby tapas restaurant.
She had been left sleeping alone with her younger twin siblings with regular half hour checks being made on them.
Kate and Gerry cling on to a glimmer of hope that their daughter could still be alive. She would now be aged 16.

Former GP turned medical worker Kate and heart doctor Gerry, both 51, have been calling on British tourists to take posters of their daughter on holiday to pin up and keep her face publicised.
