Ex-Playboy model Anouska de Georgiou who went to school with Kate Middleton becomes first Brit to accuse Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse
A BRITISH actress and ex-Playboy model has come forward today to claim Jeffrey Epstein abused her when she was young.
Anouska de Georgiou, 42, who went to school with Kate Middleton, told how she was abused "for years" during a speech at a New York court.
The socialite became the first Brit to publicly allege she was abused by Epstein in a hearing which saw 23 “victims” tell their harrowing stories.
Ms Georgiou, who starred in the 2004 Jude Law movie ‘Alfie’, said she was abused by him as a teen when she was “young and idealistic”.
She said: “Jeffrey Epstein manipulated me, corrupted me and sexually assaulted me.”
Ms Georgiou said that the abuse “lasted several years” and was "devaluing beyond measure".
She told how it affected her ability to form and maintain healthy relationships, both in her work and personal life.
The model said: "He cannot begin to fathom what he did to us.
“I was a victim, and it has taken me many, many years to stand here and say, yes, it was me.
“I was a victim, but I will not remain a victim and be silent for one more day.
"Although I think it’s tragic when anybody dies before their time, I’m extremely relieved that Jeffrey Epstein will not be in a position to hurt anymore children or anymore women.
"I’m glad to be part of a group of women who are now bonded forever in the trauma that we endured at the hands of this man.”
Ms Georgiou is the daughter of former débutante Barbara and millionaire financier Anthony.
She was educated at Marlborough College, and is believed to have attended at the same time as Kate Middleton, 37.
After leaving the posh school, she turned down a place to study law at Oxford to concentrate on modelling.
She initially found fame as a model, starring in campaigns for Guy Laroche and Pussy Glamore lingerie before working in movies.
Ms Georgiou had a role in ‘Alfie’ in 2004, before starring in a Channel 4 reality TV show called ‘California Dreaming’.
She also featured in the 2009 Hollywood war film ‘21 and a Wake-Up’ as well as the 2013 film ‘Time Traveller’, starring Josh Hartnett.
The actress, who lives in LA, has dated Baywatch star David Hasselhoff.
She has also been linked to comedian Russell Brand, Blue singer Lee Ryan, actor Jared Leto and Prison Break star Amaury Nolasco.
A client of attorney Brad Edwards, she joined dozens of other accusers in addressing a judge about the abuse they say they suffered at the hands of Epstein.
The emotional two-and-a-half-hour testimony came weeks after the financier, 66, killed himself in a New York jail cell while awaiting his sex trafficking trial.
The extraordinary court hearing was called by the judge presiding over Epstein's trial.
He set the hearing after prosecutors asked that he scrap charges against Epstein since the defendant is dead.
