Tourists’ hilariously scathing reviews of iconic landmarks on TripAdvisor
UNDERWHELMED visitors are taking the shine off the most dazzling destinations in the world with hilariously harsh reviews.
Many are simply not seeing the point of the Eiffel Tower . . . or any other historical highpoint.
Among the TripAdvisor users giving Paris’s peak a paltry one star out of five is NadimKobeissi, who moans that it “doesn’t do anything. Just sits there”.
While KaushikKapoor from India says he is “disappointed with the height” and that “Dubai’s skyscrapers are much more impressive”.
Even the Grand Canyon is the pits for some people on the ratings website.
User “973trisc”, from Perth, Australia, griped: “I find it unacceptable that in this day and age wifi was non-existent. I had lots of good photos but was unable to Snapchat them.”
While Owster101, from Toronto, said the canyon was just “meh”, adding: “You would have more fun at a park with a little sand box.”

Britain’s biggest draws are not immune either. A visitor from Brecon, Wales, calls Buckingham Palace “a knackered old council house”.
While “Flowertrellis” of Minnesota complains of there being no “grand finale” in Changing of the Guard. “Big waste of time,” she added.
Others given one star include Stonehenge, Rome’s Pantheon and Australia’s Ayers Rock — also known as Uluru.
