Who was Jessica Jaymes?
Jaymes was born as Jessica Redding in Anchorage Alaska, moving later with her family to Arizona.
She worked as a school teacher, teaching year four, five and six before she launched a career in porn.
At the age of 21, Jaymes had breast implant surgery, increasing her bra size from 34B to 35D, and pierced her nipples and clitoris, according to .
She started working in porn in 2002 and made a big break two years later when she scored Hustler mag’s “Honey of the Year” award in 2005.
Her porn pseudonym is said to be a combination of her real first name and the name of her then boyfriend James.
She went on to appear in well over 200 adult films — and later appeared as herself on several episodes of the Showtime series “Weeds” as well as on “Celebrity Rehab Sober House.”
She was also named as the Pet of the Month in the August 2008 issue of Penthouse magazine.
How and when did she die?
Jaymes was found unconscious on September 17 2019, when a friend checked on her at home in San Fernando Valley, California.
The friend called 911, reporting a cardiac arrest on a female — but Jaymes was pronounced dead at the scene, reported.
Authorities found various prescription drugs at the home of the porn star who also had a history of seizures, according to the report.

What happened before her death?
James posted to Instagram about a week before she was discovered dead inside her home, in which she apologised to her 902k followers for her absence.
In the post, she urged her followers to have the “best sex time of their life”.
She wrote: “Hey guys took a little vacation for a couple of days I love you all apologies and I hope everyone is having the best sex time of their life!"
Tributes have been pouring in after the sad news of her passing.
Fans and other adult stars shared tributes to the porn star, remembering her as a ";sweet" presence.
Porn star Richelle Ryan wrote: "Another angel taken too soon... RIP Jessica Jaymes I only met you a handful of times but she was always so sweet and the best dressed."
While porn star Jaclyn Taylor tweeted: "Rest easy beautiful. You were so kind and so generous, I’ll never forget you coming to take care of me after my rhinoplasty, you always had a way of making people laugh, and your energy was electric."
Male porn star Tee Reel wrote: "Completely devastated hearing about #JessicaJaymes passing we came into each other’s lives when we least expected it but needed it the most.
"I wish I would have reached out more I should have been there and I’m sorry love you JJ Rest In Peace angel."
