A FEMALE Cabinet Minister today revealed she was once "pinned up against a wall" by a lecherous male MP.

As a fresh Pestminster scandal exploded, Trade Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan described her own tangle with unwanted "wandering hands".

She described a shocking episode of being pounced upon by a "powerful" male colleague a few years ago.

Parliament has been rocked by The Sun's bombshell revelations of a Tory MP caught watching porn in the Commons chamber.

It has triggered an outpouring of anger from across political parties and MPs sharing stories of colleagues "behaving like animals".

Asked about her experiences on LBC, Ms Trevelyan said as a "plain-speaking woman" she has been at the "sharp end of misogyny".

She said: "We might describe it as wandering hands. We might describe it as, a number of years ago, being pinned up against a wall by a male MP - who is no longer in the House - declaring that I must want him because he was a powerful man.

"These sorts of things, the power abuses that a very small minority thank goodness of male colleagues show is completely unacceptable."

She said some MPs were "repeat offenders" at trying to make unwanted advanced and urged men to "keep your hands in your pockets".

Her horrific experiences have been echoed by female colleagues, including fellow Cabinet Minister Suella Braverman who yesterday described some MPs behaving like wild animals in the parliamentary bars.

It has sparked fresh demands for a Commons booze ban - but Ms Trevelyan appeared to reject such action and instead promoted "responsible drinking".

She said: "In the evening if there is a pause, there's nothing wrong with having a drink with your colleagues, a chance to catch up and discuss matters of the day."

Boris Johnson yesterday tore into accusations of a male Tory MP ogling porn on his phone in the Commons.

The culprit has been identified by the Chief Whip, who has launched an investigation.

But despite a sea of calls the MP has still not lost the Conservative whip.
