Warped Putin has lies dripping from his lips, Wallace says after despot blamed Boris for Ukraine
Putin has falsely accused Boris Johnson of sabotaging peace talks with Ukraine
WARPED Vladimir Putin has lies dripping from his lips, ex-Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said today.
Mr Wallace blasted the Russian tyrant, who falsely claimed in a new interview that Boris Johnson was responsible for the continued fighting in Ukraine because he sabotaged a peace deal.
The ex-Defence Secretary said: “As the lies drip from the lips of Putin in his interview it is worth refreshing yourself of the amateur and warped history he has convinced himself of.”
Rishi Sunak joined in the chorus of condemnation, calling the Russian tyrant’s claim “clearly ridiculous”.
He said: “Russia conducted an illegal, unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. I’m proud that the UK has stood strongly with Ukraine from the beginning.
“I was there earlier this year, the first foreign leader to visit.
“It was my first visit of the year to announce significant military support to Ukraine and also a broader security relationship with them.
“We can’t let this type of behaviour go unchecked. It impacts all of our security.
“We’ve already seen the impact it had on everyone’s energy bills. And that’s why we’re working closely, not just with the US but with allies around the world, to give Ukraine the support it needs for as long as it takes to repel the Russian invasion.”
Putin boasted about Russia‘s ‘unstoppable’ weapons, threatened World War 3 and blamed Boris for the war in Ukraine in a rambling interview with Tucker Carlson.
The shameless Russian tyrant spoke for two hours – his first interview with Western media since his troops invaded Ukraine in 2022.
Chair of the Commons Foreign Affairs Committee, Alicia Kearns, also hit out at deranged dictator Putin and Carlson for platforming him.

She said: “This isn’t journalism, it’s aggressor-washing.”
Boris has previously rubbished claims he derailed peace talks between Ukraine and Russia – but hasn’t responded to the latest propaganda by Putin.
In January, the ex-PM told The Sun: “This is nothing but total nonsense and Russian propaganda.”
Ukraine has also refuted the claims.
Aides to President Zelensky said hopes of peace were shattered when its troops uncovered Russian atrocities – including tortured, murdered and raped civilians – in liberated towns such as Bucha.
Nonetheless, Putin’s claims that Kyiv missed a chance to end the war risk undermining Western support for Ukraine.
Moscow claims a deal was all but brokered when negotiators met in Turkey on March 29, 2022.
Carlson, 54, who has long been adored by Russian state media, treated the world last night to what he claims to be an “unedited” interview with the Russian president.
The news host sold it as a means for the American public to see the “truth” of the Ukraine war after two years of what he blasted as “lies” fed by Western media.
However, instead Putin sat down to weave yet another baseless web of lies, launching a lengthy tirade about Russian history, before laying into Boris Johnson, President Biden and all of the West for “threat-mongering”.
If the controversial US TV pundit attempted to interject, Putin swiftly cut him down, arguing: “Are we going to have a serious talk or a show?”
In successive monologues, the Kremlin boss attempted to justify his actions over the last two years and pedalled his usual lies, blaming Ukraine for starting the war and accusing Nato of escalating it.
