A 19-year-old woman was injured and taken to hospital after the crash last weekend.

Officers confirmed they were called to a pile-up on Saturday night near the Dumbreck turn off on the M8 in Glasgow.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9pm on Saturday, August 21, police were called to a four vehicle road crash on the M8 near J23, eastbound.

“One woman, 19, sustained injuries as a result of the crash.

"She was due to attend hospital for treatment.

“A 22-year-old woman was charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences.

"She will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”

Ianis Hagi, son of legendary Romanian striker Gheorghe, joined the Ibrox side in 2020, netting nine goals.

The tricky winger scored Rangers' first goal of the Premiership season, netting the opener against Livingston on July 31.

And the Gers reportedly rejected bids from THREE top European clubs for Hagi this summer.

Romanian media claim that Galatasaray failed in a €4million offer for the Ibrox star, while Sevilla and Lazio have both had €7million bids rejected during the transfer window too.
