Wife of Craig Gordon starts divorce proceedings after Scotland and Celtic goalkeeper starts romance with TV host Summer Harl

The mother of his two children has started an official divorce case at the Edinburgh Court of Session

THE wife of Celtic and Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon has started divorce proceedings against him.

Last month, that the former Hearts and Sunderland shot-stopper was now dating glamorous former Celtic TV host Summer Harl, 28.

And now the mother of the 34-year-old goalie's two children has started an official divorce case at the Edinburgh Court of Session.

While no evidence was heard on Tuesday, the case is now active and means a time limit has been set for both sides to prepare.

Last month, the dad-of-two, who has 51 caps for Scotland, was spotted strolling with an arm around his new flame Summer although it is believed understood the new couple are not living together.

Summer - originally from Norwich - presented Celtic’s telly channel for three years until she quit in February.

Gordon, who was once Britain’s most expensive goalkeeper, is being represented by law firm DAC Beachcroft, reports .

His wife has hired Edinburgh firm Balfour Manson.

The footballer, who signed a new deal with the Glasgow giants in March after interest from Chelsea, reportedly earns around £20,000 per week.
