Finsbury Park stabbing – Man stabbed and two others injured after boozy brawl breaks out in London park

A MAN was today stabbed and two others were left injured after a boozy brawl broke out at London's Finsbury Park.

Two people have been rushed to a major trauma centre following the incident in North London just before 3pm this afternoon.

Cops rushed to the park following reports of a group of drunk men fighting.

One man was found with stab wounds and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Officers arrested a man on suspicion of GBH at the scene.

DRUNKEN FIGHT

The London Ambulance Service confirmed they treated three people at the scene.

A Met Police spokesman told The Sun Online: "Police in Haringey are dealing after a man was injured in a fight.

"Officers were called at 14:42hrs on Tuesday, 21 July to Finsbury Park, N4.

It was reported that a group of men were intoxicated and fighting in the park."

"LAS attended and the man has been taken to hospital, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

STAB WOUNDS

"A second man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.

"A crime scene is in place. Enquiries continue."

A spokesperson from the LAS said: "We were called at 2.51pm today to reports of a stabbing and assaults in Finsbury Park.  

"We dispatched three ambulance crews and an incident response officer.

"We treated three people at the scene and took two to a major trauma centre."
