The schoolboys - another 13 year old, a 14 year old and two 15 year olds - escaped unhurt from the horror smash.

They are being quizzed by cops investigating the carnage in Halifax, West Yorkshire, earlier this morning.

Disaster struck as the five teens were on Ovenden Road, Halifax, at about 2.15am today.

TORN TO SHREDS

The car was filmed torn to shreds straddling the central reservation.

It had apparently come over a fly over, mounted the grass verge and demolished the central barrier.

Police said 13-year-old passenger was seriously hurt when the silver Vauxhall Meriva struck the barrier.

This has clearly been a serious incident which has resulted in a child receiving some significant injuries."
