Princess Diana would’ve been ‘very angry about how this panned out’, says Prince Harry

Prince Harry said during the prime-time bombshell interview with Oprah: "My mum would feel very angry about how this has panned out and very sad.
"Ultimately, all she’d ever want is for us to be happy.
"We didn’t want to turn our backs on the associations and the people we were supporting."
Prince Harry also claimed he had to make deals with Netflix and Spotify after revealing to Oprah he had been cut off by the Royal Family following Megxit.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said they had "no plan" after quitting the Royal family - and hadn't considered the megabucks deals until a friend suggested it.
And he said it was when he was told his security would be taken away that he realised he needed to quickly find a source of income for his family.
Speaking to Oprah about the streaming deal, the 36-year-old said: "We didn't have a plan.
"That was suggested by somebody else by the point of where my family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us."

Prince Harry said his own father Prince Charles had stopped taking his calls for a time and that he had been cut off at the start of 2020.
However - the Duke added that his mother Diana would have seen this ordeal coming.
After being cut off financially in the first quarter of 2020, Harry said: "But I’ve got what my mum left me."
And when Oprah asked what his mum Princess Diana would think of this, he said: "I think she saw it coming.

"My grandmother and I have a really good and understanding relationship."
Royal author Penny Junor said yesterday that Prince Harry will one day regret his interview with Oprah in the same way that Princess Diana did.
Speaking about Diana's sensational interview with Martin Bashir, Penny Junor said in the : "She was wrong and came to very much regret it.
"Diana had been excited by the attention and hadn’t thought about the negative impact on her children.
"My guess is that, like Diana all those years ago, Harry and Meghan will be feeling pleased as punch about their own interview with Oprah, which airs in America tonight and in the UK tomorrow.
"But I suspect that one day Harry will come to regret it, just as Diana did."
During the explosive two-hour interview, Meghan said she had written to the Royal Family begging for Harry's security to continue to be funded after seeing death threats.
And Harry said he had been shocked by the decision to remove funding for his security, saying he had "inherited" the risk after being born into the Royal Family.
He said: "I never thought I would have my security removed, because I was born into this position."
