Two people arrested after woman in her 40s plunges from first floor flat in Norwich

TWO people have been arrested after a woman fell from a first floor flat in Norwich.

The woman, in her 40s, suffered serious injuries when she plunged from the great height.

Norfolk Constabulary have now said a man aged in his 50s and a woman aged in her 40s were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault GBH.

A police spokesperson said they had been called to Johnson Place about 9.45am on Sunday, September 10.

A spokesperson said: "The victim – a woman aged in her 40s – suffered serious injuries in the fall and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where she remains in a stable condition."

The female suspect has since been taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

The man was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Both have been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
