Woman treated ‘like s**t’ by boss hands in brilliant resignation letter after getting new job and a pay rise

A FED-UP woman who claimed she was "treated like s**t" by her boss has been lauded for her resignation letter after landing a new, better paid job.

The electrician bought a bereavement card with "sorry for your loss" emblazoned on it and then inside it wrote "it’s me, I leave in two weeks".

The woman called Amber shared an image of the card on social media site Reddit.

With it, she wrote: “You ever worked for a company that just treated you like s**t?

"I received a job offer today for a dollar more than I asked for, my own van, and they'll sponsor me for school.

I can't wait to give this to my boss tomorrow.

"I can't wait to give this to my boss tomorrow."

Amber predicted how her "a**hole boss" would probably tell her to quit on the spot.

She explained how the company she was leaving was badly paid and required staff to pay for their own tools.

Amber said: "It wasn't like this when I first started. It's just gone downhill like this over the past few years."

In an update she said she went to the shop and gave her boss the card.

She said: "He read it aloud, gave a stank face, and just said ‘ok’.

"He didn't tell me to leave so that means he wants me to work out my two weeks. He also didn't ask why I'm leaving."

'THIS IS REAL QUITTING PORN'

The card won praise from Reddit users.

One said: “Congratulations on your new job! And this is the best resignation letter I’ve ever seen.”

Another said: “This is some real quitting porn.

“I'm happy that I get to witness another sparky live out the dream of giving a sassy resignation to a deserving boss.”
