How tall are the Royal Family & what the King’s, William’s and Kate’s height says about them
THE Royal family are one of the most famous families in the world and are often photographed together.
When they are snapped together you can see just how much of a different in height there is between each member. Here is the heights of some of the Royals.
King Charles - 5ft 10in
King Charles is said to stand at 5ft 10in.
He was the same height as his first wife Princess Diana, although according to an article on The Society Pages, efforts were taken to make sure Charles looked as though he was taller than Diana to conform to the idea that men should be taller than their wives.
Professor Lisa Wade at the Occidental College in LA wrote: "This effort to make Charles appear taller is a social commitment to the idea that men are taller and women shorter.
"When our own bodies, and our chosen mates, don’t follow this rule, sometimes we’ll go to great lengths to preserve the illusion.

"When Charles and Diana were posed together formally, however, they were typically arranged so as to suggest that he was significantly taller than her, or at least to disguise the fact that he was not."

This makes her just two inches shorter than her husband King Charles III.
She is also two inches shorter than King Charles' previous wife Princess Diana.
She was previously married to British Army officer Andrew Parker Bowles but his height is unknown.

"The implication is that greater height can make you more confident in social situations.”
Prince George - 5ft 3
