Prince Harry thinks he’s found freedom but is trapped by Meghan Markle who ‘makes mind up for him’, says royal expert
PRINCE Harry thinks he has found freedom – but is increasingly trapped by Meghan Markle, a royal expert has claimed.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams says it’s “obvious” the Duke of Sussex no longer makes up his own mind, with the Duchess now making it up for him.

“He claims he’s found freedom,” Mr Fitzwilliams told The Sun Online.
“In reality he seems to be increasingly trapped, but it is clear he doesn’t realise it yet.”
His comments come after Harry spoke candidly with host Dax Shephard on the Armchair Expert podcast yesterday, telling of his bid for privacy and the “many times” he has tried to walk down the street “incognito”.
He told of the first time Meghan came to stay with him, explaining: “We met up in a supermarket in London, pretending as though we didn’t know each other, texting each other from the other ends of the aisle.”
But of his new life, the duke said he can finally lift his head high, helping him feel “a little more free”.
“Living here (in Los Angeles),” he said, “now I can actually lift my head and I feel different, my shoulders have dropped, so have hers, you can walk around feeling a little bit more free.
“I can take Archie on the back of my bicycle, I would never have had the chance to do that.”
But Richard Fitzwilliams says Harry does not realise how trapped he still is, with Meghan pulling the strings.
“He tells us he and Meghan pretended they were ordinary people in a supermarket who didn’t know each other and got weird looks, as well they might!
“He says he knows what makes a princess because Meghan told him.
“It is easy to conclude that he no longer makes his own mind up, it seems to be made up for him. It’s sadly obvious.”
Meghan and Harry have long campaigned for privacy, revealing how they struggled during their time as royals while baring all in their explosive interview with Oprah back in March.
And speaking yesterday, Harry compared his royal life to “a mixture between The Truman Show and being in a zoo”.
“His opening up in the past as a form of therapy has been beneficial to others,” Mr Fitzwilliams said. “But why does he do it so publicly now?”
“Why bare your soul in this way and to what end? The need for this ceaseless exposure to the media is obviously hypocritical for a couple who are supposedly obsessed with privacy.”
Journalist Adam Helliker said it was “odd” that Harry should make “another reference” to the freedom he feels, adding: “Now Harry says he has the freedom to take Archie on a bike.
“Of course he does, he has plenty of time on his hands, because he has no duties anymore.”
During the Armchair Expert podcast, Harry swore as he asked Dax Shepard about what it was like to take a “s***load” of drugs and “getting s*** done”.
Later on in the podcast, he and Dax spoke about the importance of ‘listening to your body’ to look for signs of distress – even when you are think you are “cruising”.
The Duke also revealed how Meghan gave him words of wisdom about Royal life – telling him “you can create the life better than any princess.”
