Princess Beatrice gushes stepson Wolfie ‘is the best big brother’ to baby daughter Sienna in name announcement
PRINCESS Beatrice has gushed about how her stepson Wolfie is “the best big brother” to her baby daughter.
The royal today revealed the newborn’s name is Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi in a touching nod to the Queen.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Beatrice said she was “delighted” by the newest member of the family.
She added: “We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna.”
Five-year-old Wolfie, full name Christopher Woolf, is her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s son from his previous relationship.
He too shared a touching post on Instagram in which he described his excitement at the experiences to come.
The multimillionaire property developer said: “Our life together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that await us.
“Feeling so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and Wolfie.
“These are the days I never want to forget. This week, a friend said to me the sweetest saying….that with every child you grow a whole new heart.”
He also thanked the midwife and the “amazing team” at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where Beatrice gave birth on September 18.
Little Sienna is Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s second grandchild and Her Majesty’s twelfth great-grandchild.
She is eleventh in line to the throne, after her mother in tenth position.
The Queen joined today’s celebrations with a tweet on the official Royal Family Twitter.
It read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have named their daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.”
