PRINCE William has wished his dad a happy birthday as King Charles turns 75 today.
The monarch is celebrating with a gathering of close family and friends at Clarence House later today.
The Prince and Princess of Wales this morning took to Instagram to wish Charles a happy birthday.
They shared a photo of Charles and William on a ski-lift during a family holiday.
They captioned the snap: "Wishing His Majesty The King a very happy 75th birthday!"
It comes after Sarah Ferguson led tributes this morning.

It comes as sources have claimed Prince Harry will today call his dad from the US.

Meanwhile another source claimed The Palace "never reached out" regarding a birthday invitation.
But now it's been revealed that a transatlantic phone call is on the cards.
Sources close to the duke told the BBC that Harry will be speaking to his father - and that after the invitation snub the call could be seen as an olive branch.
The King's 75th birthday will be a working day for the monarch marked by gun salutes across the capital.
Charles will officially launch the Coronation Food Project with Camilla which aims to bridge the gap between food waste and food need.
The head of state and his wife will visit a surplus food distribution centre outside London and meet staff and volunteers to hear about the ways food waste can be used for social good.
Charles will also host a Buckingham Palace reception highlighting the work of nurses and midwives over the decades as part of the NHS 75 celebrations.
Among the guests will be around 400 nurses and midwives alongside the Chief Nursing Officer of England, Dame Ruth May, and Amanda Pritchard, the chief executive of NHS England.
Yesterday Charles handed out slices of birthday cake to well-wishers — many of them turning 75 just as he does today.
