Prince Harry will use King Charles call to ‘get an apology’ after he was snubbed from 75th birthday gathering
PRINCE Harry will use a birthday phone call with King Charles to “get an apology”, royal experts have claimed.
The Duke of Sussex will today ring His Majesty from the US after last week claiming he did not receive an invitation to Charles’ 75th birthday party in Clarence House.
This morning sources close to the duke told the BBC that Harry will be speaking to his father.
Royal Biographer Angela Levin believes Harry use the call as a chance to get an apology from the King.
She told The Sun: “I don’t see Harry stepping down a few pegs and I don’t believe he will only use the call to wish him happy birthday.
“It's much more likely that he will take the opportunity to try and get an apology out of his father.

“I don't see that Harry genuinely wants to change things in the relationship. "
It comes after a spokesperson for the royal told the Messenger: "In response to UK media headlines, there has been no contact regarding an invitation to His Majesty’s upcoming birthday.”
But Ms Levin believes Harry knows “the ‘door is always open” and that he released the statement to “stir the narrative further”.
She explained: “The main question is why is he making a big hullabaloo by making his spokesperson say he was never invited and telling people that he will call Charles.

Harry is not thought to have any plans to visit the UK. His next trip abroad is expected to be to Canada to promote his Invictus Games.
Californian couple Harry and Meghan were both spotted at the final night of singer Katy Perry’s Las Vegas residency earlier this month.
Footage showed them arriving at the Resorts World Theatre, where they joined guests including singer Celine Dion in the VIP section.
It comes as relations between the Duke, King Charles III, and Prince William have been increasingly strained since the fallout from bombshells in his book Spare and his Netflix documentary.
Earlier this year, we revealed how Harry snubbed an offer to spend the anniversary of the Queen’s death at Balmoral in Scotland with his father and Queen Camilla.
And, the dad-of-two made only a fleeting visit to the King’s coronation in May, before rushing to fly back to Meghan.
